Company History.
Originals Digital Color was launched in 1996 and is situated in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The Northwest U.S. based family owned company is located among tall pines and scenic lakes. The location provides access to technology, an educated workforce and low overhead.
Originals began as a fine art/photo company printing photos and artwork on canvas and watercolor paper. They brought in the world’s first 8 color digital printing press- allowing them to create prints of higher definition and quality.
Their reputation for high quality work, quick service and fair prices soon spread and they were filling orders nationally and internationally. Customers seek Digital Color's expertise and state of the art equipment.
In 2005, the company went through a slight transformation from “Originals Digital Color” to “Digital Color Print Center”. A revised logo was adopted and a new website was launched at www.DigitalColorpc.com. They also own and operate a website dedicated to giclee printing www.gicleeart.com
In 2007 the Company was awarded the Impact Award from the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce in recognition of business leaders and their contribution to the community.
Digital Color Print Center operates as a retail large format service bureau and a wholesale manufacturer of products for photo sharing and photo print retailers. Efficient lean manufacturing and digital order processing systems provide fast and accurate fulfillment.
